ASENT is a comprehensive, intuitive, interconnected and graphic set of tools for reliability, maintainability, and testability analysis. ASENT’s graphics, always a communication enabler, have been further expanded so now you can fully document the design that was analyzed, including the schematic, assembly drawing, photos, and even video! You can even define your own fields to hold additional information, and store supporting design documents or other documentation (Word/PDF/Excel) in the ASENT database!
The most recent version of ASENT contains many new capabilities throughout the entire tool suite, but particular attention was given to make reliability predictions even easier to perform. ASENT 2010’s enhanced editing capabilities and import features make bringing in your BOM and refining your prediction data a breeze. A new failure rate prediction method, based on MIL-HDBK-217G, Draft 4 has been added to the long list of prediction methods currently supported by ASENT. All of these prediction methods come standard, along with a suite of tools specifically designed to help you easily manage COTS items.
The ASENT LSAR data interface provides you the ability to populate your LSAR in minutes, not days or weeks of data entry! The LSAR Interface also provides the only bidirectional interface capability available today allowing you to recreate the FMECA, Reliability Prediction and MTTR analysis from a LSAR data file.
ASENT's intuitive approach uses the controls and displays that you have become familiar with through your use of the Windows® Explorer. Drag-and-drop, pop-up menus and mouse-over hints have been further extended to a new ASENT FRACAS tool that provides the same approach to the Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) discipline. The FRACAS tool can be used either standalone or integrated with the ASENT installation, where it is automatically linked through the Session Manager. No other R&M toolkit delivers this much versatility and ease of use.

ASENT is coupled with Microsoft’s® SQL Server® to deliver more database horsepower than other R&M tools on the market. The client/server architecture was specifically designed to handle reams of program data, and allow multiple users concurrent access to the same project data. Analyses can be performed in parallel, even when teammates are geographically dispersed, and designers can retrieve information immediately after it is entered. ASENT eliminates the hassle of transferring files and combining data and ensures you are always working with the current design. In addition to offering extensive report formats and a user-defined reporting capability, ASENT’s open architecture allows you to quickly create customized reports.
To complement ASENT, Raytheon offers EAGLE and AIMSS. These products work together to provide total product supportability analysis and documentation capabilities.
