Astronaut Don McMonagle to present our keynote speech at the 2011 EAGLE Users Conference.

Raytheon EAGLE is proud to annouce that former astronaut Don McMonagle will be giving a keynote presentation at the 2011 EAGLE Users Conference.

Don McMonagle is Vice President of Launch & Test Range Systems for Raytheon Technical Services Company. In this capacity, he is responsible for leading the company’s effort to provide operations, maintenance and sustaining engineering for the USAF Space Launch and Test Ranges.

McMonagle is a retired USAF Colonel having served as an instructor pilot, test pilot, NASA astronaut, and Program Manager. He flew on three Space Shuttle missions culminating in STS-66 for which he was the shuttle commander. He completed his career in government service as a NASA senior executive managing Space Shuttle Launch Integration at Kennedy Space Center where he was responsible for the launch, landing and ground processing of 10 Space Shuttle missions.

McMonagle has held positions as Vice-President of Quality and Mission Effectiveness, and Vice-President of NASA Programs with Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, AZ.

A native of Flint, Michigan, McMonagle has a Bachelor’s degree in astronautical engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from California State University at Fresno and a Master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.

EAGLE visits with the Minister of Defense in Denmark.

Two of our team members, Mark Behrens and Greg Wieber, visit with the Danish Minister of Defense, Gitte Lillelund Bech in Denmark.

Mark and Greg are in Denmark with new customer Hydrema.

They are providing consulting services for multiple EAGLE products.

While there, they were visited by none other than the Danish Minister of Defense, Gitte Lillelund Bech.

Hydrema is a Mine Clearance Vehicle manufacturer based in Støvring, Denmark, founded in 1959.

The EAGLE Logistics Connection Conference has been announced and the dates are set for October 17th - 20th. The conference will be held at Tucson El Conquistador. The conference registration and hotel room reservation link will be provided soon. More information will be provided in the near future.

L3-Com Joint Operations Group (JOG) selects iLog

L3-Com Joint Operations Group (JOG) selects site license of iLog Integrated Logistics and S1000D Technical Publications solution. Logistics Business Systems (LBS) and Raytheon RTSC are pleased to announce that L3-JOG Lexington, KY have selected the iLog integrated suite of tools for the production and delivery of their ILS deliverables. iLog will be used to maintain Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR) and deliver S1000D Class 5 IETMs. This new capability will offer the maintainers in the field access to the latest in electronic manuals with built in diagnostics, supply chain integration and web enabled FRACAS, giving a fully 'joined up' solution to maximize the availability of the systems in the field. Doug Bickett, ILS Manager for L3-JOG said "Our new programs demand the latest versions of standards such as S1000D Issue 2.2 XML. We need to ensure we adopt solutions that will provide support for this developing standard now and in the future. LBS and Raytheon have a proven track record supporting LSA and the S1000D standard over many years. We were further convinced by the success of iLog at our sister company in Greenville Texas".

General Dynamics Canada select the iLog Integrated Logistics and S1000D Technical Publications solution

Raytheon Company are pleased to announce the selection of the iLog suite of tools by General Dynamics Canada, Ottawa. This is the second General Dynamics Canada site to select iLog for the production of ILS deliverables. GDC Calgary has been successfully using iLog on the BOWMAN program for four years.
