Feature Details
MMIS has an ever growing
number of capabilities grouped under 12 categories:
AsBuilt/AsMaintained
· AsBuilt Configuration
Management System – create and maintain the manufacturing configuration
of an assembly.
· AsMaintained Configuration
Management System – maintain the current configuration of an assembly to
reflect repair/replacement of components/subassemblies. Track the history
of serial numbers remove or replaced.
· Approved Configuration
Management System – create or maintain the approved configurations for
assemblies.
· AsBuilt Master
Configuration Management System – maintains the base master configuration
for assemblies.
Document Management
· Document Maintenance
– upload, and view documents. Maintain information about documents. Conduct
engineering evaluations and analysis on a document.
· Document Viewer
– view stored documents based on categories and sub-categories.
Electronic Data Interchange
· Contract Item Finder
– track or add items of material designated for shipment.
· EDI Maintenance/General
– track EDI requests. Add EDI transactions.
· EDI Maintenance/Open
Orders & Due In – view and maintain Open orders and Due In orders.
· FAA/DoD Requisitions
– collect FAA / DoD requisitions for failed items.
· Inventory Status
Finder – track or add records for material designated for shipment.
· WEBCAVS Status
Finder – view WEBCAVS-tracked asset status. Generate proof of shipment.
FRACAS
· FRACAS System/Assembly
– Initialize and maintain FRACAS records for an assembly. Associate FRACAS
records with AsBuilt/AsMaintained records.
· FRACAS Defects
– create FRACAS Defect Reports.
· Flight Hours Type
Finder – select or create Flight Hours Type record.
Inventory Management
· Bar Code Data Import
– import Bar Code Data to synchronize inventory locations of the assets
scanned.
· Bin Maintenance
– maintain bin location information.
· Location Maintenance
– maintain part location information.Locations identify a particular location
wihin the site.
· Non-Serialized
Inventory – track non-serialized inventory. Associate inventory to a contract
line item (CLIN). View inventory transaction history.
· Serialized Inventory
- track inventory by serial number. Associate inventory to a contract line
item (CLIN). View inventory transaction history.
· Site Maintenance
– maintain information about the site.
MMIS Process
· Install CMB Reader
– install the Contact Memory Button (CMB) reader PC program.
· Repair Item Finder
– select or create a new CMB record. These web pages allow the user to
navigate through the MMIS process without a CMB reader. Using this page,
the user can select an existing repair item and continue the MMIS process
without a CMB reader.
Parametric Data
· Parametric Data
Collection Application – create and maintainassembly test results.
Analyze parametric data
and BIT test data.
· Test Code Finder
– select or create test types and their limits.
· Test Level Finder
– select or create test levels. Group test codes.
Parts Interchangability
– allows the user to track interchangability within specific Next Higher
Assemblies (NHAs). Establish interchangability when multiple part numbers
with the same LCN have all NHA keys identical.
Parts Management –
track parts life availability. Assign life usage to parts.
Project Setup
· CAGE Code Maintenance
– maintain source of supply data usinge Contractor and Government Entity
(CAGE) codes.
· Contract Setup
– create and maintain information about contracts received on a program.
Document the processing and tracking of contractual matters.
· Cost Account –
maintains cost accounts used in the MMIS system.
· Customer – create
and maintain customer information which is used by the FRACAS reporting
system.
· Delay Code Metrics
– establish metrics used in tracking the status of a traveler.
· Email Groups –
create and maintain email group information.
· Employee – create
and maintain employee information used in work flow tracking.
· Holiday Maintenance
– maintain the dates that need to be subtracted when calculating metrics.
· Program – create
and maintain details about programs used for repair item work order creation.
· Production Scheduling
– create and maintain details regarding projected and scheduled production
amount of a specific end item.
· Reference Number
Maintenance – maintain data for parts and assemblies.
· Report Maintenance
– link reports to End Items. Organize reports into categories and subcategories
for easy access.
· Supply Support
Code - - record FAA / DoD supply codes which are used by the FAA Logistics
Center when requisitioning spares.
· User ID – create
and maintain user Ids on the EAGLE MMIS system.
